Before choosing the Samson Corridor
The Couloir Samson is a vertical adventure hike in an emblematic sector of the Verdon gorges. It's ideal for those who want some height, rock and roped progression without necessarily setting off on a very physical via cordata.
The atmosphere of the route
The route takes in equipment and technical passages on the left bank, with a real feeling of emptiness and discovery. The scenery of the gorges adds a spectacular dimension to this outing.
Good to know
This is a great way to discover the vertical world of the Verdon with a guide. Safety instructions, rope handling and rhythm are gradually explained.
